I listed my Ferrari a little over a week ago, and bidding was strong for the first 4 days, rocketing up to just about $5k under my reserve.
I received zero bids after the 4th day.
???
Ebay is still way cheaper than BAT (this listing cost me $15 becasue I had a reserve price, if it sells it will cost me $140, BAT wants $250 no matter what).
It had tons of ‘watchers’ and views and I received several emails about it, but not enough bids. I always remember ebay being the opposite, slow the first few days, then picking up towards the end. I realize I wont have thousands of people bidding on this car, but seriously, no bids the last 3 days???
I’m going to relist it one last time on ebay, and if it still does not make reserve price I’ll likely end up going through BAT. At least their auctions seem to get fair attention.

$250 sounds totally reasonable to me. BaT has had a lot more nice cars than ones that actually require a trailer lately. I bet you’ll do well over there.

Either take the highest bid, don’t use a reserve, or just start the bidding at the minimum price you want.
Perhaps your reserve was too high. Ask graverobber to post it on NPOCP so we can determine whether your reserve was fair or not.

A lot of it comes down to snipers set for the last few seconds nowadays. Maybe it’s just not Ferrari season yet?

I was thinking this too. Ebay auctions usually get sniped at the last few minutes or seconds. I’ve never bought or sold a car though, much less a Ferrari.
